Antolakii (BVEP) x Carlablackiae Seedlings: Grower’s Choice #anthuriumblackvelvetcarla
Batch ID #AnthuriumBlackVelvetCarla is a special cross between my premium Anthurium antolakii (BVEP) from Tezula Plants and my robust Anthurium carlablackiae. My Carlablackiae is a selfing of Franco’s (IL Exotics) via Rory many years ago. Both parents are vigorous specimens with spectacular coloration and burgundy emergents. Examples of mature specimens in the listing. Note that every seedling is unique however!
This listing is grower’s choice, however I am only selling the largest, fastest growing and most beautiful seedlings at this time (and culling the remainder in the batch). I will pick the next nicest one for you.

Young plants will be shipped as shown in my premium anthurium mix which uses the highest quality ingredients that I inoculate with beneficial microbes. This ensures that your plants will arrive to you strong and ready to grow. I use beneficial insects extensively for pest prevention.

SHIPPING OPTIONS:
- All Anthuriums will ship UPS 2 day because this is the safest shipping option for Anthuriums which are delicate and highly prone to heat and cold damage due to postal delays (which sadly occur more often than you would like to think when using slower mail services such as USPS Priority).
- LOCAL PICKUP: Local pickup in Oak Park, IL available. First purchase the item from me so it doesn't sell out, then message me to arrange pickup at my home office. I will refund you for shipping when you pick it up!
-US SHIPPING DAYS: I ship Monday and Tuesday from right outside Chicago (and Wed and Sat on rare occasions).

Heat Pack/ Insulation?
-All of my plants are packaged with extreme care, and during the colder months insulation and a heat pack are available for purchase as a separate listing.
What if plant arrives damaged?
- All the Plant Babies cannot be responsible for the weather or any damage done to the package in the hands of the mail carrier. Your plant will ship with insurance. If you plant does arrive damaged you MUST send an unpacking video / photos within 12 hours of receipt if you would like our assistance in filing a claim with the mail carrier or discussing a replacement plant.
To qualify for a replacement plant, you must have:
- Received your plant on the first delivery attempt and
- Entered in the correct shipping address when placing your order initially
